As distributors, you are typically contractually based with manufactures, and your primary income is based on additional services provided beyond storage and inventory. The intermediarie is the person who acts as a link for both parties, however, as the intermediaries one needs to have the ability to reduce the number of contacts between the supply chain member and the other customer.
